Welcome to Recharge Therapy
A message about telehealth and Covid-19
As we begin treating a limited number of patients in the office I want you to know what we are doing to keep you safe.
Patients and staff are required to wear masks as per the current orders in LA county.
There will be at least 30 minutes between scheduled clients in order to clean the clinic.
We are wiping down all potentially touched surfaces before and after each patient. This includes the treatment table, chairs, light switches, doorknobs, bathroom toilet and sink, and anything else that may have been touched.
There is no need to wait in the waiting room and you will be welcomed into the treatment area immediately.
We ask each person to wash their hands when they enter the clinic. Please do not wear gloves in the clinic unless they are a new, clean pair, but wash your hands upon entering and wash again or use hand sanitizer provided before you leave.
The therapist will wash their hands prior to working with you.
Patients will need to fill out a symptom questionnaire prior to their appointment to screen for any possible COVID-19 related symptoms.
As always, please cancel your appointment if you have any symptoms of illness.
Also, be aware that this is likely the scheduling and clinic procedures for the forseeable future. We do not know how long this virus will be a risk in our community and world and our highest priority is always your health.

Postpartum Exercise Video:
Check out our postpartum exercise video. It is 20 minutes of mat exercises focusing on connecting our brains to our changing bodies by strengthening primarily our core muscles including abs, pelvic floor, hips and butt. This is a compilation of the most common exercises Dr. Carri has given to her postpartum clients over the years. It is a great starting place for the newly postpartum mom. It is safe to start at anytime postpartum and highly recommended to complete before returning to any higher level exercise postpartum.
Preparing for Birth and Beyond
In this webinar your will learn how to prepare your pelvic floor for childbirth and beyond.
We believe the body has an amazing ability to heal itself and we are here to coach you to optimal health. We want to empower you on your health journey, teach you how to help yourself and guide you along the way. Our ultimate goal is that you don't need us.
Recharge Therapy is changing the way physical therapy is delivered. We set ourselves apart by providing one-on-one physical therapy treatment sessions with a licensed physical therapist each time.
You will never be treated by an assistant, aide, athletic trainer or technician.
This ensures you have the highest quality care in order to achieve your goals in the shortest amount of time possible.
Most patients feel a difference after the first session and many are better in 3-6 sessions.
Unlike many other PT clinics that require you to come in 2x/week and you may just be doing exercises on your own during that time, you will never be left alone at Recharge Therapy.
At Recharge Therapy you will never be left alone during your therapy session. The therapist will not be working with you and other patients at the same time. Each session you are working with the PT the entire time.
We believe in a lot of education to help you understand your condition and how to heal.
Because of this very individualized approach to physical therapy care we do not accept health insurance, although many of our clients are able to submit their superbill to their insurance company and receive some reimbursement. We are able to guide you through that process. Payment is due at the time of service in the form of cash, check or credit card.
A colleague of mine made this cute video that explains what women's health therapy is and why we do pelvic therapy. Enjoy and spread the message!
If you are local to Long Beach or San Pedro, CA give me a call so I can discuss how I can help you. If you are not local go to or pelvicguru.com and search for a pelvic floor physical therapist near you.
